The hotel is situated in a restored old neighbourhood with

DET LILLE HOTEL - THE SAILOR SUITES offers 12 maritime suites of high
quality, measuring 45-120 m2 each (2-5 beds, living room/dining
area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and outside area). All of
the suites can offer free ADSL-connection.
In addition to a high quality stay in this hotel with good value for money, we wish to give our guests some maritime history. "Just to stay in the suite" is an experience in itself. Old Risør with its history as a large shipping town provides the genuine setting.

LILLE HOTEL" has been awarded the Norweigan Cultural Heritage
emblem "OLAVSROSA", for the restauration and usage of a beautiful
baroque building from 1750. A popular name for the house is
"Vatikanet". It is situated by the harbour in Buvika and has
