When you "live like a Risør citizen" in one of our historic suites, how about enjoying Afternoon Tea in a historic Risør home?
A few steps away from our suites in Kragsgate there is "Sigurdsen's house", a house with an exciting history.
Here you will be welcomed by the hospitable and knowledgeable homeowner Ragnhild Sigurdsøn. She serves a delicious Afternoon Tea in the house's preserved living rooms, and tells about the history of the house and the town.
Afternoon Tea in Sigurdsen's house includes a tower of sandwiches, cookies and scones with cream and jam plus good quality and coffee tea. The price is NOK 390 per person and it must be booked in advance.
"Living like a Risør citizen" in beautiful historic wooden houses is an important part of our concept, and this is the perfect complement to your Risør stay.
The main house was built in the 1860s, but stood at Hopestrand outside Risør. It was moved to Risør town centre in 1900 and then received an annex with a fashionable solarium.
